The folder has five files with almost the same name. Two are superseded. One is a draft. Whoever cites the wrong one is liable. Everyone who signs knows that. Software does not change the checks. It runs the same seven, faster.
The file name is not the edition
Normalie103_1998_neu.pdf sounds current. 1998 is on the title page. “New” is in the Finder. Whoever signs opens the title page: edition, date, “replaces”, “draft”.
- ✓Competence first: city, canton or federal. A municipal width does not sit in an ASTRA guideline, even if search finds it.
- ✓Draft, copy, compilation: set aside. They do not go into the proposal.
- ✓Follow the cross-reference. The figure often sits one file further on, or only in the drawing there.
Every figure carries document, edition, page
“According to applicable norms” is not a passage. A parenthesis after the width is enough. Whoever signs finds the page in seconds. If the passage is missing: two words, not found. The invented width stays out.
The seven checks sit on one printable page: Which edition applies. Monday morning, without software. Leistera then does the same on your folders.
