About Leistera

Leistera is the AI operating system for architecture, engineering and planning firms in Switzerland. It reads a firm's existing folders on SharePoint and OneDrive, checks which edition of a standard applies, and drafts fee proposals and project documents in the firm's own Word template. Every statement is cited to document, edition and page. The name comes from the German verb «leisten», to deliver: what counts is the verified work at the end.

Founder: Terence La

Terence La founded Leistera in Zurich. He is AI Lead at Zurich Airport and has built AI systems for regulated Swiss organisations since GPT-3 (2020). Leistera grew out of that work: general AI assistants do not know Swiss standards reliably and produce no verifiable citations. Leistera is built for exactly that gap.

The roles in his background describe the person. They are not Leistera customers.

How Leistera works

  1. Your folders stay where they are.

Leistera connects to SharePoint and OneDrive with read-only access. Nothing moves, and there is no second archive.

  2. Which edition applies?

Leistera checks SIA 102, 103 and 108, ASTRA directives, VSS and VKF rules and cantonal requirements for the edition in force.

  3. A draft in your template.

The fee proposal is produced as a Word file in your firm's layout, with the source cited for every statement.

  4. Approval stays with your firm.

Leistera flags missing evidence and open points. Review, approval and signature stay with you.

Privacy and data residency

Leistera accesses your files read-only through Microsoft Graph and respects your existing permissions. Customer data is never used to train AI models.

This public website runs on Vercel. Data residency for product operations is agreed with each firm before go-live; the intended location is Switzerland (Infomaniak or Microsoft Azure Switzerland North). Leistera is designed for the Swiss Data Protection Act (nDSG) and the GDPR.

What Leistera is not

  • Not a general chatbot. The output is a verifiable document with citations, not an answer without evidence.
  • Not a replacement for the professional. Leistera signs nothing and approves nothing.
  • Not a second archive. Your documents stay in your Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Not another company with a similar name. Leistera is not affiliated with Leister, the Swiss welding-technology company.
